Beginning Bead Making
In this class you will learn how to make a basic, round bead, twisties, and stringers.
You will also explore ways to embellish beads taking them beyond the single
colored orb.
A bead making kit is included in the price of the class. In the kit you will find
everything you need to get started making beads: torch head, mandrels, bead
release, glass rods, tools, fire proof work surface, and more.
You will need to bring 2 canisters of MAPP gas to glass as fuel for your hot
head torch. You can find these at any hardware store. It's the yellow canister.

Beginning Fused Glass
In this class you will have an opportunity to assemble glass pieces. Basic glass
cutting and assemblage instruction will be covered. Kiln safety, studio safety, and
embellishment will be discussed. At this time, the class is set up so that you can
take pendants home with you and return a week later to pick up your bigger
tile project.
